The writers and editors behind Outward, Slate’s LGBTQ blog, are coming to New York City—and as a Slate Plus member, you get exclusive access to our presale, as well as 30 percent off your ticket purchase.

Presale for members starts on Wednesday morning and will end Thursday at 3:00 p.m.

Just use your Upcoming Events tool in the Slate Plus dashboard on the right side of the Slate Plus homepage to receive your individualized discount code. The discount code will also unlock the presale.

If you don't see your discount code for this event, don't worry! We've sent all members a discount code email. Missing the email? Just contact us at plus@slate.com and let us know.

Here’s how to use your Upcoming Events tool:

Step 1. If you’re a logged-in Slate Plus member, you can find your discount code in your Slate Plus dashboard on the righthand margin of this page. You’ll need to view this on a desktop browser, not mobile. Just click on “Upcoming Events.”

Step 2. On the ticket page here, you’ll see a space for a promo code. Type it in, and you’ll see the discount. This code is only good for a pair of tickets.

Slate Outward Live!
July 13 at 8 p.m.
City Winery, 155 Varick St., New York, N.Y.

Join the writers and editors behind Outward, Slate’s LGBTQ blog, for an exciting evening in which we’ll discuss the SCOTUS decision on same-sex marriage and a number of other fascinating queer topics. Slate’s J. Bryan Lowder, Mark Joseph Stern, and June Thomas will be onstage to drive the conversation, and they’ll be joined by a very special guest who we’ll announce closer to the event. At the end of the evening, audience members will have an opportunity to pose their very own “Ask a Homo” questions.

Doors open at 6 p.m.

See you at the event!
