What’s the worst thing about Slate’s podcasts? There are too many of them to keep up with every week.

So we’re launching the Slate Podcast Digest—to let Slate Plus members hear the best segments from a week’s worth of podcasts. Each episode we’ll pull conversations from the Political Gabfest, the Culture Gabfest, and more, and combine them into a single superpodcast that we hope will become the first thing you listen to every week.

This week’s episode features:

  • The XX Gabfest on crying at work
  • James Carville talking to Podcast for America about Hillary Clinton’s campaign
  • Slate Money on Fannie, Freddie, and the mortgage market
  • The Culture Gabfest on Wesley Morris’ “The Year We Obsessed Over Identity

The Slate Podcast Digest will appear in your Slate Plus podcast feed on Friday evenings, or you can subscribe from our podcast subscription page.
