After a long wait, Rihanna and superstar producer Mike Will (who goes professionally by Mike WiLL Made-It) have finally shared their latest collaboration, “Nothing Is Promised.” Will had teased the track on Twitter last summer but hadn’t released the full version until today.

Rihanna and Will previously teamed up on “Pour It Up,” off Rihanna’s 2012 album Unapologetic. Their new song, which is borderline trap and more upbeat than their previous collaboration, serves as the first single off Will’s next album, Ransom 2, which was delayed in February while Will worked on Beyoncé’s “Formation.” The new single’s lyrics are a pretty straightforward continuation of Rihanna’s recent themes, with the singer flaunting her love for money over any man, but that hardly matters when the real draw is the combination of her signature swaggering attitude and Will's thumping production.
