Jay Pharoah has wowed us before with his impressions of every black comedian from Kevin Hart to Eddie Murphy, and on the latest Weekend Update, he showed off his incredible mimicry skills again, this time imitating an impressive variety of rappers, including Jay Z, 50 Cent, and Nicki Minaj. Their topic of conversation? Beyoncé’s Lemonade, which understandably caused a stir at a “secret rappers’ meeting” held in P. Diddy’s above-ground submarine.

Pharoah’s impressions are masterful. (Just try to keep a straight face while he imitates DMX.) Still, despite ample evidence to the contrary, there was one person in the studio who didn’t think Pharoah’s Drake impersonation was quite up to scratch—so much so that he took a break from dissing the entire SNL staff to try to set Pharoah straight.
