When she’s not stealing the show on SNL or releasing stellar self-titled albums, Annie Clark—more commonly known as St. Vincent—is helping out her friends. One of those friends is Lena Dunham, who used a track omitted from the St. Vincent album for a recent Girls episode.

The track is “Teenage Talk,” a pensive coming-of-age tune that forgoes Clark’s usual guitar licks for a more contemplative, synth-driven ambience. The change of pace isn’t a bad thing: Like most of the singer’s work, this one-off single packs some serious emotional punch under its sleek, polished surface. Some ripped leaks of the song circulated online last month, but there’s finally an official, high-quality stream up on Spotify, which you can listen to below.
