A Scientifically Memorable Image
The following images were determined to be memorable, typical or forgettable based on an MIT study. Researchers tested whether subjects remembered having spotted given photographs before. Images that people remembered having seen 86 percent of the time were considered memorable, images recalled 74 percent of the time were considered typical and images that were recalled 34 percent of the time or less were deemed forgettable.
