A couple of the Gabfesters are on vacation this week, so we couldn't gather David, Emily, and John in the D.C. conference room. Instead of the usual three-way conversation, this week's mini-Gabfest features John Dickerson in conversation with Jesse Thorn. They discuss John's travels in New Hampshire with presidential candidates John Edwards, Barack Obama, and Rudy Giuliani.

First, sorry to those of you who tried to download this episode early Friday morning and found that you got last week's episode instead. Our RSS feed didn't update properly—that is to say, I messed up. It's fixed now (although if you're downloading through iTunes, you may need to unsubscribe and then resubscribe to our feed to get the updated version).

Second, sorry, but despite what John said on the program, there are no tote bags or knives on offer at this page. We will use it for updates, however, as well as cleaning up any messes we make on the show.
