Remember when then-Vice President Dick Cheney and Justice Antonin Scalia went on a suspicious duck hunting trip together? Well, the newly empowered Mama Grizzlies will not let such displays of manliness go unchallenged. This weekend, Sarah Palin has invited Kate Gosselin up to Alaska to go hiking with her. A few ways in which the girls already have the boys beat: 1) Did Cheney and Scalia bring along eight rugrats on their rustic adventure? I don’t think so. 2) Did Cheney and Scalia manage to maintain a blow-dried perfection on the trail? Again, probably not. 3) Ducks? Palin is planning to teach the kids how to wrestle BEARS.

My question for all our readers is: What’s your vote for most unlikely camping partners? Like, if you could create a Survivor -type showdown out of politico-celebrity pairs, who would they be? Uma Thurman and Newt Gingrich? Michaele Salahi and James Dobson?
