Another one: DJ Khaled and Drake have joined forces yet again, this time for “For Free,” a sexually charged summer anthem. To say that the two musicians are both having a good 2016 would be an understatement: Drake’s “One Dance” continues to top the Billboard Hot 100, while Khaled is on tour opening for Beyoncé and will soon release his next album, Major Key. The pair have collaborated in the past on “No New Friends” and “Fed Up,” and Khaled was obviously excited to be sharing their latest work using the venue he loves best—Snapchat:

Their new song shares a title with Kendrick Lamar’s “For Free,” which it references in the lines “And like your boy from Compton said/ You know this dick ain’t free.” Its full title, though, is the far less radio-friendly “F--k Me For Free,” not to be confused with Too $hort’s 1995 song “Don’t Fuck for Free.” But Drake does quote a different Too $hort song, “Blow The Whistle” on the track (“I go on and on/ Can't understand how I lasted so long/ I must have the superpowers/ Last 223 thousand hours”), which also samples Akinyele’s “Fuck Me for Free.” Got all that?
