Phil Collins Recreates His Old Album Covers: Take a Look at Him Now

For the past several months, Phil Collins has been releasing deluxe remastered editions of his old solo albums. The rollout started with Collins’ 1981 debut, Face Value, and has come to include Hello, I Must Be Going, Both Sides, Dance Into the Light, Testify, and the chart-topping No Jacket Required.

Of course, it’s hard to hunker down with your earlier works without feeling just a wee bit reflective. Collins, ever the sentimentalist, met the mood by participating in an old nostalgic tradition: recreating the photos of one’s youth. In his case, the photos are for gold and multi-platinum album covers, but, against all odds, the whole project turned out great. Check them out using our slider tool below.
