Iggy Pop’s New Album, Post Pop Depression, Is Now Available to Stream
Loma Vista
Iggy Pop’s new album, Post Pop Depression, comes out on March 18, but thanks to NPR Music, it’s also available to stream right now. Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme produced and co-wrote the album, and also contributed guitar, bass, piano, and backing vocals.
Pop told the New York Times that the album’s central theme is “What happens after your years of service? And where is the honor?” The album is slim on collaborators—just Homme, Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age, The Dead Weather) on guitar and keyboard, and Artic Monkeys drummer Mat Helders on drums—but it’s full of energy. Stream the full album via NPR Music below.
