If the Daily Show’s gloves weren’t already off when it comes to Donald Trump, they certainly are now. In the wake of Trump’s ridiculous assertion that Muslims should not be allowed inside the U.S., Trevor Noah brought in senior political correspondent Hasan Minhaj to comment. Minhaj actually agrees with Trump that Muslims shouldn’t come to this country—but his rationale is a little different. “One-third of a major political party in America is backing a racist maniac,” Minhaj said. “This place is scary right now!”

Minhaj also notes certain similarities between Trump and the terrorist organization he opposes: The presidential candidate is “self-financed, recruits through social media, attracts his followers with a radical ideology to take over the world, and is actively trying to promote a war between Islam and the West.” To combat “white ISIS,” or WISIS, Minhaj turns Islamophobes’ broad-brush generalizations on their head: “Until we can figure out what’s going on here,” he asserts, “we should not allow any conservatives into the White House.”
