Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peel face an alien apocalypse.

Comedy Central

Whether poking fun at the imaginative names bestowed upon some black Americans or skewering the depraved history of slavery, the duo of Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele have drawn on their shared identity as biracial Americans living in the age of Obama to great comic effect, gaining a devoted following and critical praise. Comedy Central has shared a new sketch from the premiere episode of Key & Peele Season 4, airing next week, and their smart take on race is on hilarious display yet again.

The premise resembles Invasion of the Body Snatchers: When aliens invade Earth, Key and Peele can’t be sure who is human and who is an alien in disguise—that is, until the person they encounter says something that seems strangely “off” in relation to their racial demographic. Stereotypes abound, but, as always with these two, the humor is sharp and the satire is biting.

Season 4 certainly looks promising from here.
