Jerry Seinfeld Is Trying to Bring Back the Theme Song


People have been lamenting the disappearance of the original TV theme song—the sort that lays out, in detail, the premise of the show—for years. But Jerry Seinfeld, whose own popular sitcom of course lacked such a song, is doing his part to bring this kind of tune back, by adding one to his Web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. He even sings it himself!

Granted, this may not kickstart a renaissance:
