Earlier this week, Bob Dylan surprised fans by posting the first track from a previously unannounced new album on his website. The song, "Full Moon and Empty Arms," was written by Ted Mossmann and Buddy Kaye (who borrowed from Rachmaninoff's "Piano Concert No. 2 in C Minor"), but it was made famous by Frank Sinatra, who recorded it in 1945.
Little is known about the new album, just that it will come out later this year and that, judging from the image above, also recently posted to Dylan's website, it will probably be called Shadows in the Night. If that is indeed the album cover, I'm expecting more nighttime ballads like this one—and that's not a bad thing.
