Attorney General Jeff Sessions is testifying Tuesday in a public hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee. In March, after the Washington Post reported on Sessions’ two previously undisclosed meetings with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the 2016 presidential campaign, Sessions recused himself from all investigations into potential Russian interference in the election. Former FBI Director James Comey raised further questions about Sessions’ conduct in public and private testimony last week.

How are commentators making sense of the hearing? Below are pundits’ and politicos’ live tweets, drawn from a list of top accounts curated by Slate. Those who lean left are on the left; those who lean right are on the right. Behold the instant spin.
