That time when New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s aides shut down traffic in Fort Lee for political revenge” is such a mouthful! Like every scandal, this new one needs a pithy signifier so it can be crammed into tweets and headlines. But the Internet can’t seem to decide on one this time. Some journalists are going with “bridgegate”—a classic choice—while others are opting for the edgier “bridgeghazi.” Below, Slate has compiled a list of possible names.
