In an Aug. 1 Gaming, Julia Turner misidentified poet and avid Boggle fan Jenna Lê as Jennifer Lê.

In an Aug. 1 Slatest blog post, Josh Voorhees misattributed a citation to Ad Age. The source was Ad Week.

In a July 31 Brow Beat blog post, Forrest Wickman misstated the publication date of the novel Little Red Rooster. It was first published in 1987, not 1988.

A July 31 Quora post stated that it takes  nanoseconds for a signal to go from a person's brain to their arm. It takes milliseconds.

In a July 31 Weigel blog post, David Weigel misstated Tom Cotton’s age.

In a July 31 Weigel blog post, David Weigel misstated the year Rick Weiland ran for Congress.

In a July 30 XX Factor blog post, Katy Waldman misspelled Centers for Disease Control director Thomas R. Frieden’s last name.

In a July 29 Brow Beat blog post, Dan Kois said that Superchunk’s new album, I Hate Music, would come out this week. It comes out Aug. 20.

Due to a production error, a July 29 Dear Prudence originally included chat letters intended for July 30.

In a July 28 Bad Astronomy blog post, Phil Plait misspelled cartoonist Jef Mallett's name. 

In a July 28 Business Insider blog post, Vivian Giang listed Wynn Resorts Ltd. as having the sixth-highest employee turnover among Fortune 500 companies. Wynn Resorts Ltd. claims its average tenure is 6.7 years for full-time employees and 1.5 years for seasonal and part-time employees. It has been removed from the list.

In a July 28 Slatest blog post, Daniel Politi described an interview with Reza Aslan as taking place on a Fox News broadcast. The show was on FoxNews.com.

In a June 27 Brow Beat blog post, William Brennan confused an early draft of Shirley Jackson’s “The Lottery” for the first draft. In fact, the first draft has been lost.

Due to an editing error in a July 26 Crime blog post, Gov. Pat McCrory’s last name was misspelled.

In a July 26 Weigel, David Weigel misspelled Allison Riggs’ first and last names.

In a July 26 XX Factor blog post, Emily Bazelon misspelled the last name of Jack Willke, the former head of the National Right to Life Committee.

In a July 25 Brow Beat blog post, Nadia Arumugam implied that the Maillard reaction occurs only when the surface temperature of a food is above 300 degrees Fahrenheit. While it occurs most readily above 300 degrees, it can also occur at lower temperatures. 

In a July 22 Double X, Beverly Donofrio misstated that Angie Epifano was raped at a frat party at Amherst. Epifano was raped in an Amherst dorm room.

In a July 11 Moneybox, Katy Waldman incorrectly stated that Russian banker Andrey Melnichenko was married to Miss Yugoslavia. He is not; his wife, the former Serbian model Aleksandra Melnichenko, has never been Miss Yugoslavia.
