Dunham's parents bounced among jobs and homes, from Kansas to California, to Oklahoma, to Texas, then back to Kansas, before finally settling on Mercer Island in Seattle, where she spent her high school years. Here, a photo of 17-year-old Dunham from the 1960 Mercer Island High School yearbook.
