“Michele Bachmann + husband”
Though Rep. Michele Bachmann reminded voters late last month that her husband is not running for the presidency, Marcus Bachmann has been in the spotlight on several occasions. The clinical therapist has made headlines for his reported “pray away the gay” counseling methods and exorbitant campaign expense reimbursements.
Oh, and in case you’re curious, here’s the (obviously fake) bikini photo in question.

“Rick Perry + gun”
The governor loves his guns; he even jogs with one. Here, he fires a six-shooter pistol during a promotional event for the Texas Motor Speedway.

“Rick Santorum + gay”
In 2003, then-Sen. Rick Santorum ignited a firestorm when he grouped same-sex relationships with “man on dog” relationships. To strike back, sex columnist Dan Savage launched a campaign to name a sex term after Santorum. The winning entry: “the frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex.” Eight years later, it’s still the top search result for “santorum.”
On the left, Savage advertises Google’s role in linking the politician with the sex act. Santorum speaks on the right.

“Mitt Romney + hair”
This well-coifed candidate made good-hair headlines during his previous presidential run, even warning opponents against touching his Don Draper-esque head. He may have good reason to protect it: A study published last fall postulates that voters are more likely to elect politicians who “look the part.”

“Ron Paul + blimp”
Supporters of the Texas congressman launched a blimp in his honor as a publicity stunt during his previous primary run in 2008. It may fly again during Paul’s current campaign, if supporters donate enough cash to fund it. It was captured here in Myrtle Beach, S.C., in 2008.

“Newt Gingrich + affair”
In 2007, the former House speaker confessed to cheating on his former wife Marianne Ginther more than a decade earlier while piloting the impeachment proceedings against President Bill Clinton for charges stemming from his relationship with Monica Lewinsky. After his divorce from Ginther was finalized in 2000, Gingrich quickly married his lover, a former congressional aide named Callista Bisek (pictured here with Gingrich in December 2009, after their marriage).

“Jon Huntsman + family photo”
The former Utah governor is from a relatively famous clan: His father, Jon Meade Huntsman Sr. is the founder and chairman of Huntsman Corp., a multibillion-dollar global chemical company. But this search result may also refer to Huntsman’s immediate kin, who are as photogenic as Huntsman Sr. is rich: He often parades his seven children–including two adopted from India and China–in front of supporters at campaign trail stops.

“Thaddeus McCotter + guitar”
The Michigan congressman plays lead guitar for the Second Amendments, a bipartisan House rock band. Here, he plays after announcing his candidacy at the First Annual Freedom Fest in Michigan.

“Herman Cain + sunday morning”
The former Godfather’s Pizza CEO recorded a 13-track gospel album called Sunday Morning 15 years ago. Listen to it here.
