The Art of Money
Giving a check or a gift certificate is so 2002. In 2011, you can give the gift of money in so many more creative ways. What follow are some fun ways to impress with bling, without hitting your savings account too hard. (Not all are for sale, but let them inspire you and your children to invent your own currency-based creations.) Here’s a sculpture from artist Justine Smith, who is based in London. She made this piece in 2011, and used fewer than 25 currency notes. It took her about one month to make.
