In the Sept. 4 "XX Factor XXtra," Hanna Rosin misidentified W. Bradford Wilcox as a historian. Wilcox is actually a sociologist.

In the Sept. 2 "Television," Troy Patterson incorrectly stated that Sarah Palin had a family of seven when she made a campaign advertisement in 2006. She had a family of six then.

In the Aug. 29 "Chatterbox," Timothy Noah erroneously stated that Adam Brickley was a college sophomore when he created his "Draft Sarah Palin for Vice President" blog in February 2007. He was a college junior. Noah also quoted verbatim a passage from an Anchorage Daily News story that stated that Brickley is currently a college senior. The Anchorage paper was incorrect. Brickley graduated last spring.
