Waiting in line on Election Day took hours for some voters, but apparently not for some celebrities.

Grammy-winning singer Usher was, well, ushered to the front of a Roswell, Ga. polling station on Tuesday, where he proceeded to post photos of himself to Twitter while others were waiting in very long lines.

Some local residents and county officials grumbled that Usher's treatment wasn't exactly democratic, given the crowded polling stations. But election officials defended the move days later, saying they wanted to minimize the distraction for other voters.

Usher's reps have yet to comment on the matter, but we somehow doubt the incident will dent record sales.
