In the first part of my conversation with Charles Duhigg, author of The Power of Habit, he explained how I could break my procrastination habit. (I plan to start working on that shortly.) In this part he explains how he broke his habit of having a chocolate-chip cookie or two every afternoon. Personally, I think his case of cookie dependence was an easier-than-average case to cure, but judge for yourself:
