The Trump Apocalypse Watch is a subjective daily estimate, using a scale of one to four horsemen, of how likely it is that Donald Trump will be elected president, thus triggering an apocalypse in which we all die.
So a few things happened over the last 24 hours that can be construed as either bad or good for Donald Trump’s chances of being president.
- Donald Trump was called a racist in an instantly iconic newspaper cover. (That’s bad.)
- He gave an election night teleprompter address that was generally inoffensive. (That’s good!)
- Radio host Hugh Hewitt kicked off another round of contested convention speculation. (That’s bad.)
- Hillary appears to be struggling to win over Bernie Sanders supporters. (That’s good!)
- She scored big wins in California and New Jersey after securing her party’s presumptive nominee status. (That’s bad.)
- Trump’s visage was revealed in this pile of potato chips. (That’s good!)
- The potato chips contain potassium benzoate. ….
