Here's my 10:49 a.m. snack. I'd had breakfast so early, I was hungry again. This, however, would normally be the time I'd be eating breakfast.

Fage 0 percent Greek yogurt and a banana. I'm not a fan of yogurt, but two people have recommended this to me. It was yogurty.

That's right. It's on my car seat. I'll be working on where I eat in Week 3.

Here is lunch. It's perhaps the first time I've eaten lunch before 3 p.m. in years:

It's supposed to be huevos rancheros, or rather, eggs over leftover vegetarian chili. Yeah, it looks kinda gross because I flipped the eggs, but it was delicious, though I waited too long to eat it. No-Brainer Lesson of the Day: Eat before you become ravenously hungry.

For dessert:

A Cara Cara orange.

And, at last, my 5 p.m. snack:

A McIntosh apple.

I did not weigh or measure my banana, orange, or apple. I think it's more important that I got four kinds of fruit today so far (five if you count the raisins in my oatmeal). The plan for dinner is a giant salad, so that should get in a bunch of vegetables. Variety, my friends. Variety.

I still need to sit down and figure out how much I should be eating and whether I'm getting all of my nutrients in. Or maybe there's a reason I can't seem to get around to doing it. I'm still hungrier than I think I should be. But I didn't have a 4 p.m. blood-sugar coma slump today.
