Bonus Slate News Quiz: Looking Back at Election 2016
Test your knowledge of this campaign’s big stories.
What’s this craziness? In honor of Election Day, we’re rolling out a special edition of the Slate News Quiz to see what you remember from this long hard slog of a campaign. Your host, Ray Hamel, has dug into the news archives to see what you remember about the primaries, the scandals, the debates—and even a few blasts from the past. (Have no fear: We’ll have our regularly scheduled Slate News Quiz on Friday, too.)
Just like in the regular weekly quiz, questions are multiple choice, and time is of the essence: You have 50 seconds to answer, and as the seconds tick away, the question’s point value drops from 50 all the way down to zero, so you’ll want to click on your answer as fast as you possibly can. There’s no penalty for an incorrect answer, so feel free to take a guess.
At the end of the quiz, you’ll be able to compare your score with that of the average contestant as well as our culture editor, Dan Kois.
Can you ace the quiz and beat Kois? Good luck!
