The New York Times has tapped 29-year-old conservative Ross Douthat to succeed Bill Kristol as an op-ed columnist. Douthat, the co-author of Grand New Party: How Republicans Can Win the Working Class and Save the American Dream, blogs and writes for the Atlantic and is an occasional Slate contributor.
