In an April 15 " DoubleX," Jessica Grose misstated that Rachel Allison and Barbara Risman are at the University of Chicago, Illinois. They work at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

In the April 12 " A Fine Whine," Timothy Noah misspelled the name of New York Gov. David Paterson. He also misstated that Northern Virginia's foreign-born population was "nearly twice that of the United States as a whole," failing to make clear that the comparison concerned the proportion, not the absolute numbers, of foreign-born residents.
