In a Dec. 23 "Recycled" on whether Mary was a virgin, the introduction mistakenly referred to the virgin birth of Jesus as the Immaculate Conception.

In a Dec. 20 "Books" column, Johann Hari misspelled Timothy Leary's name.

In a Dec. 19 "Prescriptions," Timothy Noah miscalculated the new Medicare payroll tax on high incomes. It's 2.35 percent, not 1.99 percent. He also stated that Sen. Ben Nelson represents Montana. Nelson represents Nebraska.
