In the July 22 "Explainer," Brian Palmer stated police officers are required to read suspects their Miranda rights upon detention. Miranda rights must be read only if an officer intends to interrogate a suspect in custody.

In the July 24 "Spectator," Ron Rosenbaum misspelled the name of British actor Ronald Colman.

In the July 29 "Politics," John Dickerson incorrectly referred to beer as a spirit. Technically a spirit is a liquid that has been distilled, whereas beer is produced by fermentation.
