In the May 28 "Movies," Dana Stevens incorrectly stated that Michael Giacchino wrote the music for Wall-E. Thomas Newman was the composer on that film.

In a May 28 "Technology" column, Farhad Manjoo originally misspelled the last name of eBay's CEO. He is John Donahoe, not Donahue.

In a May 26 "Jurisprudence," Dahlia Lithwick erroneously described Sonia Sotomayor as a formal federal prosecutor. She was a state prosecutor.

In the May 22 "Explainer," Christopher Beam incorrectly referred to Tasmanian devil facial tumor disease as a virus. It is a nonviral cancer believed to be spread by direct transmission of cancer cells during biting.
