In the Jan. 22 "Change-o-Meter," Chris Wilson identified retired Adm. Dennis Blair as Barack Obama's choice to head the CIA. Blair is nominated for director of national intelligence.

In the Jan. 19 "Television," Troy Patterson misspelled the name of composer Aaron Copland.

In the Jan. 12 "Life and Art," Rose Dakin incorrectly describedher great-grandfather Kurt von Hammerstein-Equord as being openly inclined toward communism. He supported Russia and had close ties to trade unions, but his political ideology was unknown.
