In an Oct. 20 "Read Me" column, Michael Kinsley misspelled Monica Lewinsky's last name.

Due to an editing error, the Oct. 16 "Explainer" originally stated that the U.S. population would hit 300 million at 7:46 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. In fact, demographers said it would happen at 7:46 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

The Oct. 16 "Science" misspelled the name of economist Steven Levitt.

In an Oct. 16 " Book Club," Bill Emmott mistakenly confused the references to the x and y axes.

In the Oct. 13 "Press Box," Jack Shafer misidentified blogger KC Johnson as K.C. Roberts.

In the Oct. 9 "TV Club" about The Wire, David Mills was misidentified as a writer and director for The Wire.  He wrote Episode 2 this season.
