In the Sept. 18 "Moneybox," Daniel Gross miscalculated the relative value of Google's charity commitment. One billion dollars represent less than 1 percent of Google's market value, not less than one half of 1 percent of it.

In the Sept. 18 "Today's Blogs," Sonia Smith referred to blogger Domenico Bettinelli Jr. as editor of the Catholic World Report. He is no longer with that publication.

In the Sept. 15 "Explainer," Daniel Engber incorrectly stated that the college buyout for Ford employees included $15,000 of tuition over four years, plus 70 percent of wages. In fact, workers could choose one of two college options—either $15,000 over four years plus 50 percent of their wages, or $15,000 over two years plus 70 percent of their wages.
