In an Oct. 13 "DVD Extras," Matt Feeney originally and incorrectly identified a line of dialogue in Kicking and Screaming as having been spoken by the character Lester. The speaker was Max.

In the Oct. 13, "Middlebrow," Bryan Curtis incorrectly rendered the title of Alan Alda's memoir as Never Stuff Your Dog. The correct title is Never Have Your Dog Stuffed.

In the Oct. 11 "War Stories," Fred Kaplan incorrectly stated that John McNaughton died in a helicopter crash. He died in a plane crash.

In an Oct. 6 "Culturebox," Daphne Merkin wrote that Truman Capote died at the age of 60. The author of In Cold Blood died at the age of 59, one month shy of his 60th birthday.

In the Oct. 3 "Ad Report Card," Miller Lite was originally misspelled.
