Corrections

A Feb. 19 " Assessment" of Colin Powell, Fred Kaplan wrongly identified John Bolton as the No. 2 in the State Department. In fact, Richard Armitage, the deputy secretary, is the department's No. 2. Bolton is undersecretary for arms control and international security, one of six undersecretaries.

In a Feb. 18 "Dispatch From Cambodia," Rachel Louise Snyder mistakenly said factories in Cambodia pay $40 per day. The correct figure is $40 per month.

In the Feb. 11 " Chatterbox," Josh Levin and Timothy Noah originally misspelled the first name of the Senate candidate for whom George W. Bush worked in Alabama. His name is Winton, not Winston, Blount.
