We’re looking for a technology and business editor.

Slate is looking for an editor to marshal our technology and business coverage. Ideal candidates will be smart, funny, and energetic; have excellent news sense and good judgment; write sparkling copy and headlines; and be deft, sensitive editors. Experience on the tech and business beats is preferred but not required—Slate is a place for omnivores. Experience working online strongly preferred. Good humor and menschiness also a big plus. The position is full time, on staff, with benefits, and can be located in New York or Washington, D.C.
