Ideal candidates will be smart, funny, and energetic; have excellent news sense and good judgment; write sparkling copy and headlines; and be deft, sensitive editors. Experience on the tech and business beats is preferred but not required—Slate is a place for omnivores. Experience working online strongly preferred. Good humor and menschiness also a big plus. Applicants should send a résumé and cover letter to email@example.com by Jan. 28.
