In the May 22 “Design,” Sara Goldsmith misquoted Melville's famous character, Bartleby. His famous retort was "I would prefer not to," not simply "I prefer not to."
In the May 22 “Politics,” David Weigel misspelled Chris Kossmann’s last name.
In the May 21 “Politics,” John Dickerson misspelled Steve Rattner’s last name.
In the May 19 “Longform,” Jody Avirgan referred to the audience at Jon Stewart's 2004 commencement speech at William & Mary as "a group that started their college lives in September 2001." The audience comprised students who entered college in 2000.
In the May 17 "Movies," Dana Stevens described Gregory D. Gadson as having lost his legs below the knee. He lost them above the knee.
In a May 11 “Politics,” John Dickerson misspelled the first name of small-business owner Philip Derrow.
