Early Sunday, the iconic Joe Paterno statue was removed from its spot outside the university stadium. The 7-foot bronze sculpture was unveiled in October 2001, when Paterno earned his 324th win. Here, marks remain on the wall and ground after a forklift carried the 900-pound statue away.
