Ariana Grande is a terrific singer, but she is a terrible enunciator. As Gawker’s Rich Juzwiak and many others have pointed out, she tends to slur her words together until you can no sooner discern them than the lyrics of Michael Stipe. (It doesn’t help that many of her lyrics are co-written by Swedes and are somewhat incomprehensible in the first place.)

But as the queen of mondegreens told Jimmy Fallon when she appeared on the Tonight Show last fall, she’s “working on the pronunciation thing.” So how’s our most mush-mouthed popstar improving? To find out, we listened through her new album Dangerous Woman and created this quiz.
