Make Slate Your Home Page

Internet Explorer 5.0 and above—PC
If you're visiting our site in IE 5.0 or higher, clicking the "Make Slate My Home Page" link at the top of the Slate home page should prompt you to set your home page to www.slate.com. To manually set Slate as your home page, go to Tools in the main menu, select Internet Options, enter www.slate.com in the box labeled Home Page, then click OK.
Mozilla Firefox 1.0 and above—PC
In the main menu, select Tools, then Options, then click on the tab labeled General. Enter www.slate.com in the box labeled Home Page Locations, then click OK.
Opera 3+—PC
From the main menu, select Tools, then Preferences. Under the tab labeled General, enter www.slate.com in the box labeled Home Page, then click OK.
Safari—Mac
From the main menu, select Safari, then Preferences. Select the tab labeled General, type www.slate.com in the Home Page box, then click OK.
Firefox—Mac
Select Firefox from the main menu, then click Preferences. Under the General tab, enter www.slate.com as your home page, then click OK.
AOL
From the main menu, go to Members, then Preferences. Select the WWW icon from the category list, then enter www.slate.com as your home page.
