More evidence of the Surrealist obsession with mannequins. Much of Hans Bellmer's work revolved around this multilimbed, jointed doll, which could be reassembled into different creepy combinations. He painted, photographed, and drew her, too. This piece was shown at the Tate Modern, surrounded by work “she” inspired.
