Hillary Clinton locked up two of the more predictable, but powerful, endorsements imaginable Thursday. Barack Obama publicly declared his support for Clinton’s candidacy, after spending months on the sidelines waiting for the nomination battle to play out, and on Thursday evening Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren, who had also waited to endorse, went on Rachel Maddow to offer her support for Hillary Clinton.
“I’m ready. I am ready to get in this fight and work my heart out for Hillary Clinton to become the next president of the United States — and to make sure that Donald Trump never gets anyplace close to the White House,” Warren said.
