Point of Rhetorical Clarification: Stephen Curry Ruled Out of Game 3

The Stephen Curry Ankle Watch is a running feature that assesses the state of the Golden State Warriors star’s infamously sensitive ankle joints on a scale ranging from “Not Great” to “Touch and Go” to “They’re Probably Fine” to “100 Percent Ready to Rock.”

Stephen Curry is officially out of tonight’s basketball game in Houston. As pointed out earlier today, despite a positive MRI this week, Curry did say he “probably” wouldn’t suit up in the third game of a series that appears to be over with or without him. Hmmm… what does this mean for the SCAW? Good question. Because this change appears to be one of verbiage, not a change in Curry’s actual health, he will keep his “Touch and Go” status and live to play another day.

More importantly, after sitting out two straight contests, does Stephen Curry still have a path to the nomination? Up next on the Situation Room.
