Watch the Kids From Stranger Things Dab, Tear Up the Emmys Stage With “Uptown Funk”

Too hot.
Hot damn.

Stranger Things wasn’t nominated for anything at last night’s Emmy Awards—the show will have to wait until 2017 for that—but the Netflix hit was still a winner, with young cast members handing out sandwiches to the audience and being generally pretty awesome:

But the cast’s real time to shine came before the broadcast even began, when Caleb McLaughlin, Millie Bobby Brown, and Gaten Matarazzo performed “Uptown Funk” up on stage at the Microsoft Theater.

We already knew about Matarazzo’s musical talents and Brown’s rap skills, but it’s no surprise McLaughlin more than held his own up there during the pre-show—the actor got his start on Broadway playing Young Simba in The Lion King.

We’re not saying the next season of Stranger Things has to be a musical, per se, but surely it should be more musical than the first. Don’t believe us? Just watch.
