Take away the ubiquitous tie-ins, the perfect trailers, and the coy withholding of plot, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens would still have its most powerful promotional weapon: Carrie Fisher. Since her return as Princess Leia was announced in March 2013, Fisher, under the guise of a “press tour,” has blessed the public with her giddy energy, off-kilter humor, and total disinterest in celebrity convention.
That continued with this unfairly entertaining interview on Good Morning America, which sees Fisher and her dog Gary field questions about Star Wars. Of course, it’s not the questions that are the draw here—it’s Fisher’s endless, electric supply of ripostes.
