At this year’s Sundance Film Festival, we sat down with comedian Tig Notaro to discuss the new documentary about her life, her breakout 2012 standup set where she announced she had cancer, and what it was like to perform topless in New York City this past November.
We also asked her about the dozens of allegations of sexual assault or rape that have been made publicly against Bill Cosby. Notaro had been a huge fan of Cosby since she was a child, she said, and at first she assumed the stories about him were just rumors. She now thinks that may have been naive.
