Look Forward to 2014 With This Fun Movie Preview Supercut

Andy Serkis as Caesar in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Over the last few weeks, we've been inundated with the annual year-end offerings of supercuts and retrospectives of the year in 2013 movies. For a change, YouTube user Hayden Vartiainen decided to look forward rather than to the past, with "Film Showcase 2014," a supercut of upcoming movies we can expect to see in the new year.

As Kevin Jagernauth notes at Indiewire, the video is composed of footage from already-released trailers, so you won't find anything outside of big-budget films and potential blockbusters like Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and Interstellar. But it's a nice move away from the norm at this time of year, and builds to a strong finish, set fittingly to John Murphy's "Surface of the Sun."
