David Bowie and Tilda Swinton Made a Music Video Together

And it is as delightfully weird as you would expect. Over at Vulture, Zach Dionne points to a possible inspiration, the popular Tumblr Tilda Stardust, "dedicated to the belief that Tilda and Bowie are one person." Or maybe Bowie was a fan of the crazy fake Tilda Swinton Twitter account.

The song, "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)," concerns, at least in part, celebrities and our relationship to them, and the video features additional Bowie doppelgängers (and models) Andrej Pejic and Saskia De Brauw. It is the second release (following "Where Are We Now?") from The Next Day, which is out March 12.
